Mellow Vibes Psychology accepts referrals from WorkCover Queensland and the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ) for psychological treatment following a workplace injury or motor vehicle accident.
WorkCover & NIISQ Fee
$266 per session — billed directly to the insurer. No out-of-pocket cost when your claim is accepted.
WorkCover Queensland
If you have been injured at work and your claim has been accepted by WorkCover Queensland, you may be eligible for psychology sessions as part of your treatment plan. Psychological treatment may assist with:
- Trauma and PTSD related to workplace incidents
- Anxiety and depression following injury
- Adjustment to injury and return-to-work planning
- Chronic pain management
- Stress, burnout, and emotional impacts of workplace injury
A referral from your treating doctor or WorkCover case manager is required before commencing sessions.
NIISQ — Motor Vehicle Accidents
If you have sustained a serious injury in a motor vehicle accident in Queensland, you may be eligible for psychology services under the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ). This scheme provides lifetime treatment, care and support for people with serious injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents in Queensland.
